Facility Manager (French Speaking)

SUMMARY 

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, while delivering excellent service to tenants and stakeholders. Fluency in French is required to communicate effectively with our French-speaking clients and partners. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. 
  • Manage cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste management services. 
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for scheduled and emergency maintenance. 
  • Develop and manage facility budgets, including cost control and reporting. 
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend asset life. 
  • Support space planning and office layout optimization. 
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and compliance documentation. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues for tenants and internal teams. 
  • Communicate effectively in French and English with clients, vendors, and team members. 
  • Prepare yearly preventive maintenance schedule, and monthly duty roster for technician and contractors. 
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly report of the building operation work. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager. 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related building field. 
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role. 
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management operations and best practices. 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. 
  • Facilities Management or any relevant sector with minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience. 
  • Excellent English and French writing and verbal communication skills. 
  • Able to interact with a wide range of clients, personnel, and their demands. 
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management to work with clients and tenants. 
  • Strong customer focus promotes team spirit, boosts morale and who subscribes to the Company RISE values. 
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and professional, attention to detail.
